"Every time I think of you - and I think of you often - I thank God for your lives of free and open access to God, given by Jesus. There's no end to what has happened in you - it's beyond speech, beyond knowledge.  The evidence of Christ has been clearly verified in your lives."  (I Corinthians 1:4-6).

As we leave The Philippines this morning, these words run through my mind.   God is doing some wonderful things in the lives of the children in The Philippines.  Our group has been focusing on following Jesus into Manila and other areas of The Philippines.  Sometimes it has been hard to go where he goes, do what he does, and be who he is, but it has been a wonderful journey.  He has led us to places and people who have impacted us in deep and significant ways.  Thank you, Lord, for showing us your precious ones in The Philippines, and what you are doing in their lives.  Thank you for the sponsors who are changing the lives of children who so desperately need help, and for the love and happiness we see in so many of their lives because of your grace and kindness.

We could not possibly share each face we encountered during our time here, but here is a sampling of those we met.  Every time we think of them we will pray for all those who need someone to give them a helping hand - and we will thank God for what He is doing in the lives of so many in The Philippines - and around the world.
