Group leaves for The Philippines on October 1, 2012

Excitement is high as six sponsors and I prepare for our departure on October 1 to visit the sponsored children in The Philippines. We will meet in Chicago and fly together to Hong Kong, China, and then on to Manila, The Philippines, arriving there around in the very late evening of October 2. We will be visiting the sponsored children, interviewing about 600 of them, working with the local staff and volunteers, participating in worship services with congregations of the Church of God, and sharing the love of Christ with the children and their families.

I will be posting as often as I can during our trip, so check back often. I think you'll enjoy sharing in our time with the children in The Philippines.

The group will be returning to the U. S. on October 9. Eddye Davis will be traveling with me to Thailand, Myanmar, and Bangladesh following The Philippines experience. We'll keep you updated on the entire trip, from start to finish, as internet connectivity allows.
